Este pode ser monocristalino, policristalino, amorfo ou at\u00e9 feitos de filme fino e tamb\u00e9m h\u00edbridos. A verdade \u00e9 que existem diversos modelos, e depende da pessoa a decidir qual \u00e9 a melhor para si, de acordo com sua necessidade e com o custo benef\u00edcio.<\/span><\/p>\n

O efeito fotovoltaico acontece pelo processo em que os f\u00f3tons, part\u00edculas da luz do Sol, encontram a c\u00e9lula e reagem com o material semicondutor. <\/span><\/p>\n

Na fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o da c\u00e9lula, \u00e9 usado o<\/span> sil\u00edcio combinado com outros elementos<\/b> que alteram sua estrutura qu\u00edmica. Desse modo, s\u00e3o criadas duas camadas opostas: uma negativa, com sobra de el\u00e9trons, e uma positiva, com falta desses.<\/span><\/p>\n

A negativa vem na parte de cima da c\u00e9lula e a positiva embaixo, sendo unidas por uma fina grade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ent\u00e3o, quando os f\u00f3tons chegam \u00e0 c\u00e9lula, eles reagem com os \u00e1tomos de sil\u00edcio e fazem com que os el\u00e9trons da parte negativa se dispersem. Mas como n\u00e3o conseguem ir diretamente ao polo positivo e vice versa, os el\u00e9trons s\u00e3o obrigados a percorrer o caminho da grade. <\/span><\/p>\n

E a\u00ed temos a <\/span>gera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma corrente el\u00e9trica<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As c\u00e9lulas s\u00e3o conectadas em s\u00e9rie por meio dessas grades condutoras ultrafinas, de baixo para cima, formando um <\/span>circuito<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Todo o conjunto \u00e9 vedado entre duas tiras de <\/span>pel\u00edculas postas entre um fundo protetor<\/b> (backsheet), onde as placas s\u00e3o conectadas a uma caixa de jun\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por cima, para proteger as c\u00e9lulas do vento, das chuvas e do granizo, \u00e9 posto um<\/span> vidro temperado<\/b>, resistente, anti aderente a anti reflexivo. E, logo, um quadro de alum\u00ednio.<\/span><\/p>\n

As placas fotovoltaicas precisam de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de tempos em tempos para que sigam gerando energia el\u00e9trica. E isso se faz, basicamente, com uma limpeza de sua superf\u00edcie de vidro, retirando poeira, polui\u00e7\u00e3o e excrementos de p\u00e1ssaros.<\/span><\/p>\n
